Members Elect Incumbents in Uncontested Election

GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - (August 7, 2026)  Grand Valley Power, an electric cooperative serving over 16,500 members in Mesa County and surrounding areas, announced today that the members elected three directors to the Board at the annual meeting on Thursday, August 6.

Incumbents Joseph Burtard, Joe Landini, and Janie VanWinkle were re-elected in the uncontested election. Each will serve a three-year term and join the other six sitting directors on the cooperative’s board.

Grand Valley Power’s Election Supervisory Committee oversaw the election, which was conducted by a vote of acclamation of the members present at the annual meeting. Thank you to all members who participated in this year’s election.
