Your Grand Valley Power billing date is moving.
Grand Valley Power is changing when it bills some members for their Irrigation usage. Members who received Irrigation Time-of-Use (I-TOU) bills for service from the 16th of the month to the 15th of the following month will begin receiving bills for service for a complete month (i.e., from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month).
For more information please read the FAQs below, call 970-242-0040, or visit our website: gvp.org/billing-change.
This is a great time for you to join our members who have signed up for SmartHub and enrolled in auto pay!
Billing Change FAQs
This change will create organizational efficiencies (and lower operating costs) by:
- Streamlining the billing process. These changes will help us prepare for our transition to the new power supplier in 2028.
- Reducing billing expenses.
Irrigation Accounts
If you previously received your irrigation electric service bill near the end of the month, going forward you will receive it around the 10th of the month for usage from the previous month. Payment will be due around the 28th of the month.
If your automatic payment date occurs on the 10th of the month, a Grand Valley Power member support representative will call to discuss your options. Automatic payments scheduled on the 18th, 5th, or 25th of the month will continue to occur on those dates.
