SCAM ALERT --- Several GVP customers have received phone calls from people stating that they are GVP representatives. These scammers are threatening customers that if they do not pay a past due balance over the phone, then their power will be shut off immediately. GVP does not ask for credit card information over the phone. GVP's normal business practice is to notify customers of past due balances on their monthly statement and then follow that with a courtesy phone call to remind them of the past due balance. Please do not share your personal information with anyone who contacts you claiming to be a GVP representative.
